We normally buy (unless someone catches one) whole Salmon here (which is too much for me). Haven’t had Salmon steaks in a long time - will buy one and try this.
If I don’t have a grill, I’ve done a half fish in the oven basted with butter a little dill, pepper and lemon slices (haven’t made this in years but I think that’s how I used to make it).
Whoops, I think I meant filets. They can be pretty thick too. Not steaks. But same - sacrifice one to check doneness.
