It would be nice that in our technological utopia of 2016 the media could at least get live sound and video done correctly.

Actually, what we're seeing right now is the "technological utopia of 2016" version of a bunch of spoiled brats throwing a public tantrum.
It would be even more obvious if they worked up the courage to broadcast their names/faces or even had a live mike in the studio so we could all hear what they're REALLY saying......
