Happy your salmon turned out well. Recipe sounds nice and I’ll check it out as I like basil, but have always used dill with salmon and most fish.

Sunday we had blackened hogfish with she-crab soup,wifey had cajun shrimp. We ate at the Islamorada Shrimp Shack where the guy from diners, drive-ins and dives did his thing.
It was good.
