Pathetic – Ted Cruz and John Kasich Announce Joint “Never Voters Campaign” To Stop Donald Trump…
Conservative Treehouse ^ | 4/25/2016 | Sundance

Posted on 04/25/2016 6:14:50 AM PDT by GilGil

As a direct consequence of the growing support for candidate Trump, and with looming electoral defeat on the horizon, the Ted Cruz campaign now places all its “never voter” efforts on stopping Donald Trump from winning Indiana. However, Donald Trump is also polling ahead of Cruz in Indiana – so the Cruz campaign approach throws a Hail-Mary.

In an effort to improve fleeting chances, Team Cruz has struck a deal with the Kasich campaign. Team Kasich is to pull out of Indiana, and Team Cruz will give them free reign in New Mexico and Oregon.

The only thing Kasich can achieve in Indiana is keep Cruz from winning.

The only thing Cruz can achieve in New Mexico or Oregon is to keep Kasich from winning.

Why should either of these campaigns spend one thin dime to guarantee the least favorable possible outcome? It would be a misallocation of their limited resources.

Does Ted think that Hillary is better than Trump? If Ted sees Trump at 40 percent and himself at 22, why doesn’t he submit to the voters decision?

Your right. Let’s ask Dole, McCain and Romney how that worked out.

So Ted is admitting he can’t win a battleground state.

If he can’t win it now he sure as heck won’t be able to compete in the general.

Anyone still think that either of these losers are a viable pick for VP now?
Not me. I’ve tried and tried to give cruz the benefit of the doubt. No longer. Scum of the earth.

“He’s making a DEAL!”

*******

Are you suggesting that Cruz makes political deals that The Donald (peace be upon him) cannot?

Smacks of heresy.

As penance, say 10 Hail Trumps and re-read his Art of the Deal.

Plus with this kind of ridiculous plan the donors must be really excited at the thought of sinking millions more into two losers.

I’m sorry. I didn’t see the actual announcement. Where in the article is it ‘Announced’ as the headline states that they’ve joined forces for the #nevervoters campaign?

I couldn’t find it. I found this: included in the Kasich announcement is a request to the Super-PAC’s spending on behalf of both ‘never voter’ candidates.

So if Sundance could find the first page of the ‘Announcement’ why don’t we see where the true ‘announcement’ is made.

Seems to me this article is crap and lies. We see how the republican party operates if they don’t get one of their golden boys as the nomination - sickeningly corrupt. So why do trump supporters like Sundance and conservative treehouse have to stoop to their level with lies and junk article??

Cruz could be a team player and wait until 2024 or maybe even 2020 but no, he has to have it now. Trouble is, if he’s successful, it guarantees a Hillary win and then everyone loses for good. Cruz could wait and waltz right in to the nomination and presidency in 2024. To hell with Cruz. I’ll still be voting after Trump’s done in office and I’ll be remembering this.

This from a link in the article from the Cruz campaign.

“Having Donald Trump at the top of the ticket in November would be a sure disaster for Republicans. Not only would Trump get blown out by Clinton or Sanders, but having him as our nominee would set the party back a generation. To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico, and we would hope that allies of both campaigns would follow our lead. In other states holding their elections for the remainder of the primary season, our campaign will continue to compete vigorously to win.”

You are correct!

Entrenched establishment and ideologues care more about their own selfish motives than saving the country from open borders, national interests, and working Americans.

Cruz and Kasich both are admitting that they are part of the UNIPARTY and don’t really care who wins the presidency as long as it’s not Trump who would probably upset their apple cart.

They BOTH want to go on with “politics as usual” and sit back, make meaningless speeches and enjoy the fruits of OUR labor as we pay for their cushy lifestyles...

It’s time for an American Political Revolution...Get rid of this now one-party system that has spawned because of “professional politicians”....

My how times change!

One minute Cruzers are hopping mad at me for suggesting that Kasich is even a Republican...

The next minute they are calling the guy a “principled conservative” and are calling for his inclusion on Cruz’s ticket!
