I was just reading something on Twitter that said Cruz only had a plurality in 7.
But Twitter is often wrong.
I’m sure Trump is on top of this.

I’m getting fed up with the blatant desire of the RNC to thrwart the will of the people. Hopefully this latest desperation move of Cruz/Kasich fails.

If not it will be tar and pitchforks in Cleveland! I will be so pissed!

I’m thinking the Truckers and Bikers might take care of Cleveland for our ENGINEER.

The rule is "majority of delegates." I went through this table at greenpapers, and came up with: Colorado, Idaho, Kansas, Maine, Texas, Utah, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

The party can go in various directions. One would be to "accept" the inevitable Trump nomination, then "slow walk" the general election with Trump as the nominee, with the outcome being what it has been all along, lose the presidential election to the DEM.

The other is to battle Trump at the convention. A majority of anti-Trump delegates at the convention can deny him the nomination. It would be messy, but it can be done. If #NeverTrump decides to press the issue at the convention, the rule will be changed to allow open nominations.
