Warwick (Listeni/ˈwɒrɪk/ WORR-ik, more locally /ˈwɔːrwɪk/) is a city in Kent County, Rhode Island, United States. It is the second largest city in the state, with a population of 82,672 at the 2010 census. Its mayor has been Scott Avedisian since 2000. Founded by Samuel Gorton in 1642, Warwick has witnessed major events in American history.
The City of Warwick (and T.F. Green Airport) is located approximately 12 miles (19 km) south of downtown Providence, 63 miles (101 km) southwest of Boston, Massachusetts, and 171 miles (275 km) northeast of New York City.
Warwick was decimated during King Philip's War (1675–76) and was the site of the Gaspee Affair, a significant prelude to the American Revolution. Warwick is also the home of revolutionary war general Nathanael Greene, George Washington's second-in-command, and the Civil War hero of the battle of Gettysburg, General George S. Greene.

To keep up the appearance of being qualified, interested, and viable in a contest against the eventual DEM candidate. The only process they are dismissing as unimportant or a charade is the results of the primary vote.
Of course, they would reverse that position in a heartbeat if they won the primary vote. Not saying that's likely, just that the stated position is a reaction to events. Leading by following.

That is exactly what I expected to have happen, about a year ago. I was not looking forward to the election season - AT ALL. The prospect of having to see a Bush vs Clinton election. Phooey!
Thank you for the Rally thread! I was born in Rhode Island! My parents met at Barrington College, a Christian college that I do not believe is around any longer.
I think we are watching kabuki theater...public statements are one thing, but we know Manafort and others are working behind the scenes as well and we will not know the result of those discussions until they are completed.
The Big Mo is rolling down the Trump Train way, and these yuggee wins will not go unnoticed by the RNC, along with the massive number of new R voters and crossovers.
Trump will show the RNC there is much more for them to gain by working with him than not. If they try pulling some crap to try to steal the nomination from him, what will they gain? We know they will lose a LOT, including most likely control of Congress...would YOU vote for GOPe Republicans if they use procedural trickery to give the nomination to Kasich, Jeb, or Ryan?
I’ve always been convinced their “support” for Cruz is merely an illusion, they used Cruz and Kasich to try to prevent Trump from getting to 1237. But that is strictly a 2nd+ round play, and as Manafort has always said, “there will not be a 2nd round, or a 3rd...”. The RNC also has a lot of control over those delegates and then there’s the pot of Rubio delegates out there.

While spending lots of hours here on the Trump Train ..Donald J Trump has given me the Honor of relaying his assigned NICKNAMES to people here riding on his Train. He said we understand his reasoning for assigning negative Nicknames to his challengers so he thought he would give good positive NICKNAMES to his SUPPORTERS. He doesn’t always have the time to assign nicknames at every Rally but he does try.
Hope this helps explain the NICKNAMES.
