I agree. Based on Cruz’ past performance, Kasich is being played. Cruz will not honor the agreement, and despite that, people like Vineyard will blindly follow Cruz like a kamikazi pilot.

This is basically a face-saving deal for Kasich. OR and NM are proportional, so he has very few delegates to gain if Cruz' votes drop a bit. Cruz has a huge pile of delegates to gain in IN since it's winner-take-all. Kasich went into this deal having very few cards to play and it shows.

If Kasich has been staying in this race without having cut a deal with Trump already, then he's an idiot. His presence in the race has only helped Trump gain more delegates.
