It makes one wonder how the NCAA football gig got so much out of Johnny, while in a college-drinking atmosphere.
One footnote, I think while his NFL career is over....if he could get some kind of rehab and solve this problem....he still has baseball talents, and with two years in the minors...I think he could be on a major league team.
I’ll go negative and cynical. He is finished.
OK, baseball talents are one thing.
But a guy with this many pathological features is not going to even "accept" a severe demotion to the baseball minor leagues.
He's had a taste of the NFL high life.
He will go even crazier, (if that's possible) riding on a bus for 3 years as a minor leaguer.
He can't just jet off to Vegas or LA whenever he feels the urge during the season.
He'll be expected to play every day.
He isn't going to like the 24K per year either.
He’s a good golfer too. Time will tell if he turns his ship around. But it’s up to him. And right now he doesn’t seem to want to change.
