Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump said Sunday he expects to secure the Republican nomination on the first ballot.

"I'm only interested in the first ballot," he said during a rally in Hagerstown, Md.

"I'm not interested in second, third, fourth, nineteenth because I'm really interested in winning it early and that's it."

Trump said he's not "playing games," adding he's going to win in states that other Republicans are not even going to campaign in.

But during the rally, Trump slammed the primary system, calling it unfair. He criticized rival Ted Cruz for "bribing" delegates.

There were a couple really pushing JimRob’s buttons the other day. I’m pretty surprised they survived it.

How do YOU know that teddy hasn't bribed anyone? It's the STATIST/GOPE way and since Teddy is both, he more than probably has been busy sending out surrogates to bribe every delegate then can.

OTOH, Trump IS going to get the 1237, at the very least, which Cruz can't and neither can crazy KaSICKO.

I’ve never seen a Republican get so many Mulligans from his acolytes.

Could it be that Trump is drawing support from such as would never find their way hereabouts without a candidate such as Trump?

There are lots of folks who are not political junkies but who are sick of PC and are unsure of whom to support to defeat it. Hopefully, they'll turn out in November!

If we knock Washington and Jefferson off of Rushmore

I'd start with the visage of the Progressive Great White lion Hunter.

I didn’t say that. I only stated that there has been no proof of any bribery by the Cruz campaign and Trump keeps making his accusations of such activity.

Because there IS “legal” bribery in getting delegates to vote for someone else on the second ballot, of which there shan’t be one. If you don’t know about that, you know NOTHING about politics!

Just wait until Wednesday....after Trump handily wins all five primaries, with at least 3 and probably 4 with well over 50% and Cruz in THIRD PLACE in all of them. LOL

You now have mail.

“How do YOU know that teddy hasn’t bribed anyone?”

That seems fair.

...Trump slammed the primary system, calling it unfair. How do winners react to rules that they don't like?

Umm - like Cruz supporters who hate that he's losing and hasn't half the support that Trump has? The system may be the system, but lots of big money is going into the ballot "appropriation" despite what the voters are saying they want - Cruz is abandoning his principles because his ego says he by damn deserves to be President - no matter what the little People want.

Trump points out a flaw in the system (that "outsider" Cruz is so adept at manipulating and who is becoming indebted to a lot of big money folks in the process) and he's a whiner - how about Cruz whining about Hannity because he tried to dodge a relevant question? Does that count as what a honest/altruistic winner does?

Putz.

Thanks for the pings.

We have a few Scummy Scruz backers left. They post like ambulance chasing lawyers playing and taunting Jim Rob. They post like a Bill Clinton, when he asked people to define “is”, and I didn’t have sex with that woman!”

After their hero and KaSick bonded together yesterday, they may feel the warmth of the Zot.

The second ballot scenario will be the end of the Republican party.
They know that. That's why there won't be a second ballot.

Yes, it would be the end of the Republican Party.

The other part, maybe they are catching on, but they are still the stupid party.
