I agree, in Mexico it is not uncommon for entire families to be murdered. Actually happened a little South of me a couple years ago.
It is possible someone else did it of course but sure sounds like Cartel work.
Yeah, those drug cartels don’t like people messing with their money.
Of course, they have been known to target the wrong families from time to time.
But it’s all good for them, the message is still sent.
Darn shame they couldn’t have left a calling card, like a Columbian Neck Tie.
