Hagerstown /ˈheɪɡərztaʊn/ is a city in Washington County, Maryland. It is the county seat of Washington County, and by many definitions, the largest city in a region known as Western Maryland. The population of Hagerstown city proper at the 2010 census was 39,662, and the population of the Hagerstown-Martinsburg Metropolitan Area (extending into West Virginia) was 269,140.
In 1739, Jonathan Hager, a German immigrant from Pennsylvania and a volunteer Captain of Scouts, purchased 200 acres (81 ha) of land in the Great Appalachian Valley between the Blue Ridge and Allegheny Mountains in Maryland and called it Hager’s Fancy. In 1762, Hager officially founded the town of Elizabethtown which he named after his wife, Elizabeth Kershner. Fourteen years later, Jonathan Hager became known as the "Father of Washington County" after his efforts helped Hagerstown become the county seat of newly created Washington County which Hager also helped create from neighboring Frederick County, Maryland. The City Council changed the community's name to Hager's-Town in 1813 because the name had gained popular usage, and in the following year, the Maryland State Legislature officially endorsed the changing of the town’s name.

Hi everybody, Another great day, another great day to be on the Trump Train! Getting ready to head over to our local Japanese steak house for dinner. The kids treat. Having a super visit with our son before he heads out here in a couple weeks.
On the sad news front my dad, who is approaching 80, is beginning to rapidly lose memory. Presently, he isn’t speaking to me because he thought I was coming to see him yesterday. (I told him two or three times when I was coming). Guess from now on I will have to call the night before or the morning of. Hate this, but what can you do?

One thing, when they get upset over things that can’t be helped, caused by the disease, an anti anxiety pill really takes the edge off their upset. There is nothing gained by letting them get upset over “nothing” - their bad memories. It may be hard to get the pill taken. Mom used to get so anxious she would have panic attacks and reflux. So we say the pill is for that. She doesn’t remember what or when she takes it. And it does help her.
My uncle, though, refuses all the pills. So it’s a problem. He still gets agitated. Figure out a way to get it into them and it is a blessing. Suddenly instead of being down my mom is singing a song. And she doesn’t need them every day or every week even.
