The ONLY state in which Trump got a majority of Republican votes was New York. And in New York, the difference between Democrat and Republican is like the difference between Communist and Democratic Socialist. Conservatives in New York belong to the Conservative Party, and could not vote in the primary.
OK, I meant to say plurality, not majority. But he still got more Republicans than Cruz in every state he won.
Trump got nearly 45% of the GOP voters in the Nevada caucus, which was closed, and only registered republicans allowed to vote, and that was when there was still a large field of candidates. So you are mistaken.
Trump has won all of his wins with a "majority". You can't win a vote with less than that.
Cruz got 43 point something% in his adopted home state's primary, which means that about 56% of Texans voted against him. That really stinks on ice.
