Agree. It is something to divide us and focus our attention elsewhere, but it’s also a real problem and is not going to end well if a solution isn’t found.

Not saying a solution shouldn't be found, but in order of priorities, it's orders of magnitude lower than the porosity of our borders, our economy, and the threat from radical Islam. Of course, another objective of theirs is to make sure the Republican candidates get distracted by "shiny" gotcha questions. Remember George Stephanopoulos badgering Romney about contraception? Now it's potties. Sadly, Cruz, hoping to score some points, took the bait and ran with it.

Obama and his minions in the media want us to focus on this "shiny" potty thing to keep us distracted from the really important problems.

Yes lets work the far right up into a frenzy over something that is not even a problem. Raise your hand if you are encountering frequent and ongoing trannie activity in the ladies restrooms. I haven’t spotted one in 20 years. I’ll see a spotted owl before I see a trannie in the restroom at Carrabas. :-)

Unfortunately, that’s politics. They all score points that way. That’s reality.

And of course we have to prioritize, and yes it was a gotcha question. By now, Trump should know they’re coming and have at the ready something to neutralize it, something along the lines of what you mentioned, that it’s a distraction and he’ll not get caught up in it (that would work for a lot of the gotchas).

Instead, he made a point of saying that the NC law wasn’t necessary. Apparently NC felt it was necessary.

He also said it would be discriminatory to build bathrooms to accommodate them. What’s that all about?

It may be costly and a hardship, but saying it’s discrimination is PC - which is the one thing I always count on him being, un-PC. Wish he’d thought it out better.
