I do fall into the 'I don't see why a good conservative has had to be trashed' camp. It was unnecessary, and so much of it was untrue and/or twisted to fit a narrative, or to make conservatives feel better about their new guy. And I was glad to see what I thougt was the worst 'i-dug-up-some-made-up-dirt-about-cruz' poster kicked.
