Cruz’s delegate push shows he is the consummate politician. WE DON’T NEED ANOTHER POLITICIAN! Ted, you may win the battle, but you will lose the war. Then we all lose.

All I had to do was read the title in the sidebar and I knew it was you!

Usually I don't see your posts until hundreds of others have already responded so I'm glad to be one of the first this time.

I fully agree that Trump has wrapped up this nomination and has the broad support of the American people from coast to coast. The only way that Cruz (or anybody else) can deny Trump would be to essentially steal it away through convention parlor tricks with delegates and other crafty maneuvering behind the scenes.

Really disappointed in Cruz and his petty "wrangling" of delegates away from Donald Trump. He cannot win in the Deep South. He cannot win in the Northeast (except the caucus state of Maine). He finished a distant third in NY next week and looks to finish third in most of the states coming up on Tuesday. He's also headed for a wipeout on the West Coast in May and June.

If it's not Texas, Wisconsin or some caucus where the rank and file have little say, Cruz does poorly. Which means that if he was nominated, he would get landslided in November. Wisconsin, Texas and the sparsely populated caucus states are not going to get us to 270.

It's over for Ted Cruz and the establishment Republicans and they need to come to terms with that quickly.

It's time to rally around Donald Trump as our alternative to Shrillary Clinton.

Trump is flawed and far from perfect and he’s no Reagan but in stupified America he’s the best candidate who can shuttle off Hellary— God help us all if she gets in.

Are you saying that no criticism of Trump is to be tolerated?

Are you saying to no support for a candidate other than Trump will be tolerated?

I think what is wanted is for Cruzaders to accept reality and stop acting like monkeys on LSD.

Candidates who want the GOPe to select their Maine delegates for them: Trump, Kasich

Candidates who want each candidate to select his own delegates: Cruz

And you consider this to be 'cheating'?

Though I prefer Cruz, I would vote Trump against either of the communists.

I have been a Ronald Reagan Conservative Republican since I walked precincts for him in 1980.

I was a BIG Ted Cruz supporter when he announced he was running for President.

Then Donald Trump got in, I have always liked the guy. I took a long serious look at him, and sorry Ted. I think Trump is the guy best suited for this country.

Agreed that President Hillary would be like the wrath of God on our country.

But ... not sure who I am going to vote for. Sorry for the non-opus.

Well, bye.

I am looking for clarity here - (despite my typos).

The two questions I asked are simple and direct.

At dinner last night with some partly liberal friends..and they admitted that this election was anti-establishment and they were surprised by the number of their democrat friends who would vote for Trump rather than Hillary. That is good news. If all my old retired friends go for Trump we know that they will show up and vote. Go Trump.
I’m going to invest in some chalk and put down some Trump signs.
