I've tried to search online to see how those "chips" work.

I think that vets and animal shelters use some kind of scanner (kind of like a bar code scanner at the store) and it reads the chip and tells them the owner contact info and such.

Continuing thoughts for you and your baby. (((onyx))), (((Louie))).

The Police just came to my door (6 of them).

Some man 2-3 blocks over has him, but they can’t find that man because exactly where he lives is vague, given that he was going door to door looking for Louie’s owner. I don’t know WHY I didn’t see him or he didn’t see me driving up and down those streets several times yesterday afternoon and evening ...

Louie’s breeder called me because another lady who saw me and Louie at the pet store loved Louie so I gave her Louie’s breeder’s name and telephone number and she actually bought a puppy from the next litter, so this lady recognized Louie last night when the man was asking if anyone knew where this dog belonged? YES, she said, but she didn’t know where I lived.

Anyway, this lady, (Lory) is at Church right now and the Police are trying to locate the man who has Louie. I’ll call Lory in 1 hour and hopefully, she will know where to find this man. At least, he lives in the neighborhood.

Anyway, 6 Police Officers are also looking for Louie and I have the Sgt.’s card. I guess I’ll stay put and wait.
