FYI, Bridgeport is probably the poorest city in Connecticut. I live a few towns over from there and you can always tell when you took a wrong turn because suddenly it looks like you entered a third world country.

Connecticut may be one of the wealthiest states overall but there are definitely some pockets of real poverty and despair.

Of course they have suffered under decades of Democrat rule.
