Mr. Wilson said neither of them gave up their U.S. citizenship. Below is a link to Michael Wilson’s Report of an American Citizen document. Ted’s older half-brother died in December 1966; his mother moved to Louisiana in 1967. Why would she become a British subject for less than a year?

The above link’s purpose is to prove he isn’t eligible. It is flawed, particularly trying to pass off an Oswald associate as Cruz’s father. If nothing else, at least the above documentation makes the chances of his mother renouncing her citizenship in Britain seem extremely unlikely.

“If nothing else, at least the above documentation makes the chances of his mother renouncing her citizenship in Britain seem extremely unlikely.”

Eleanor up and abandoned her husband while not even notifying him that she was walking out on him. Then Eleanor gives birth to another man’s child. Now show me the evidence demonstrating she did not marry a British or other foreign citizen while she was still married to Mr. Wilson.

Secondly, it makes no difference whether or not she expatriated her natural born citizenship in the U.S. Eleanor’s son, Ted Cruz, was born abroad, outside the jurisdiction of the U.S.; and any such child born outside the jurisdiction of the U.S. can acquire U.S. citizenship only by naturalization. No child born abroad ever has or ever can be a natural born citizen of the U.S. The U.S. Supreme Court affirmed so in its statement: United State v. Wong Kim Ark, 169 U.S. 649, 18 S.Ct. 456, 42 L.Ed. “A person born out of the jurisdiction of the United States can only become a citizen by being naturalized....”
