Their dog once bit a stranger who aggressively approached my mother while out on their twice-per-day walks. She otherwise loved visitors, going to the bank drive-up (they gave her treats), and going on long car rides.

What was the outcome? Civil action? Out-of-court settlement? Putting the dog down? Inquiring minds, etc.

Regards,

The outcome, you ask?

My parents dog was hugged and kissed for protecting my mother.
She was later given a big meal, had her belly scratched, and then took a nap in front of their fireplace.
A truly wonderful dog loved by everyone who knew her.
