I have no doubt he said something like that. The issue is what else he stood for and did. I lived through Roger’s era here in the Mpls. are and remember them quite well. Additionally, a close friend was a drummer in the whole Paisley Park scene and he could really inform the Atlantic author.

Like I said, Prince said a lot of things. He was a strange dude and was no authority on morality by any standard I’d recognize.

He was the leading moral philosopher of our age and...kidding but still it nice to know he would confound much of his fanbase like that.
