We obviously have to do away with math, because math is racist. We use numbers derived from symbols the Arabs created. The concept of zero is something we stole from the Hindus. We can’t use Roman numerals because the Romans were European imperialists. We can’t even use Greek symbols because the really learned people tell us that the ancient Greeks stole everything from the Egyptians.
Half of these students could not find Egypt or Arabia or Greece on map, but they know everything and want to judge and censor everything.
Performing the works of a different culture used to be called “admiration” or “diversity” or “education.” Now it’s cultural appropriation, whatever that means. They have come full circle. Western performers were once criticized for limiting their performances to Western music. Apparently now the race commissars would limit them to that repetoire. Wait a few years. Soon they will be requiring the inclusion in all concerts of non-Western music performed by non-Western artists without regard to the quality of the music or the skill of the musicians. It’s not about art or culture. To the race commissars, nothing matters but race.
