Cruz only thinks he is going to stay in. After the next 5-6 primary defeats the calls for him to get out will be loud and clear. He will be forced out or totally destroy his career. The voters are going to turn on him bigtime if he tries to take this to convention.

He’ll be 2020 or 2024’s Santorum: a guy who once had a lot of promise and a following, gone.

At this point, in for a penny, in for a pound. Cruz has been so roundly slandered here and elsewhere by Trumpettes, he might as well go for it and hang in there. Otherwise, the Trumpettes would say his getting out meant they were right. Now, I am sure he understands the no win Alinsky rules crap that has been pulled on him, and frankly, that is a disgrace that should have a significant part of the Republican electorate ashamed to show their faces, but I think he’ll hang in there.

Unfortunately, as long as Kasich stays in, Cruz isn’t going anywhere. This has turned into the stop Trump primary season. It’s becoming quite embarassing.
