I think the whole thing is sick. It is a contrived issue designed to be a snare for anyone who opens his mouth on whatever side and whatever they say.
There is more a hazard for male perverts going into male bathrooms.
Does anyone actually allow their little ones to go into a public restroom alone? I have never seen that happen.
For hygiene reasons, the little ones in my family don’t go period.
