Donald J. Trump says the abstruse Republican delegate system distorts the will of the people.
Senator Ted Cruz says the partys nominating rules have been in place from the beginning.
Mr. Cruz is right, and he may be losing the public argument anyway.
With polls showing a strong preference for nominating the candidate with the most popular votes even if he fails to secure a majority of delegates before the convention in July Mr. Cruz has brushed up this week against an uncomfortable reality: His only road to victory is a messy one.

Cruz can argue all he wants but he has no case. He’s only won 2 of the 20 largest states. Trump will have won 13 by next week. Trump will win more primaries in one day next week than Cruz has the entire campaign season. In the end it comes down to winning elections and Cruz hasn’t gotten it done.
More and more people are seeing Cruz as the establishment candidate that he has always been. Cruz and his team put the Con in Conservative.
As a Cruz backer for the primaries, I’ll admit we lost. I just don’t see any way it happens for him now. At least in a way that’s acceptable by all.
For all practical purposes, it’s Trump’s
On Wednesday, Mr. Cruz told reporters at the Republican National Committees spring meeting in Florida that only Mr. Trumps loyalists believed that the candidate with the most votes should be awarded the nomination
Ted Cruz doesn't care about the will of the voters. He's only interested in his naked greed of manipulating the system to make the loser a winner.
Psssst. Don’t say anything, but people don’t like him. Personality wise, he’s a male Hillary. Nasty, angry, not believable.
Yeah, that'll work......
According to this video Ted Cruz is caught on camera slipping money to a delegate:

Cruz downfall was taking the media’s advice and attacking Trump.Trump turned him into Lyin Ted and it was over.
Here's the 'money shot' from the article. The Trump Loyalist are the majority of voters apparently.

Trump is the presumptive nominee and Cruz is an asterisk, like Kasich. They are mathematically eliminated.
Its time to unite behind the only viable candidate, if we are to win in November. Thats Donald Trump. The power now is in unity. All Aboard!!!
Cheers!
What response have I gotten?
Crickets.
These Ted Cruz fanboys know the truth, as does their preferred candidate, Ted Cruz, and yet they still insist on their suicidal quest to both wreck their own party and even risk their country, all for one man's blind personal ambition. Absolutely shameful.
It would be laughable if it weren't so dangerous.
At this point, Ted Cruz's egotism and narcissism make Donald Trump's ostensible character deficits pale in comparison. They long ago ceded the moral high ground.
Vote Trump
Trump isn’t even waiting for the Convention to stop his act, he knows he’s got it and can stop pretending he isn’t a progressive.
Reality is nobody is coming on a White Horse with the Cavalry to save us. The country is going to have to suffer for its stupidity and pride. Putting Trump on Procrustes Bed to make him Reagan ain’t going to work.
Add creepy,

You coulda been a Supreme Court Justice ...
Ted is pathetic. It was painful reading that article. Ted is in whining and pleading mode now. Very sad. He needs to man up, face reality and go back to the Senate.
Kamicruz-E willing to take himself and the country down for some unknown reason..
