AP has already looked at some of the ins and outs of Trumps comments on North Carolinas bathroom law, but the fact is Donald Trump is right. This doesnt mean I plan on replacing my #NeverTrump magnet with a Make America Great Again one or start delighting in the idea of a Trump presidency. But Im okay with agreeing with him on this even if it may be a case of Trump the blind squirrel finding the nut.

This debate over bathroom access seems like a ridiculous one for this election cycle, and something which could end up hurting more than helping. Trump is right on this issue. It will be more interesting to see if he decides to switch his position in the next few days (much like he did on abortion) to make sure the evangelicals who follow him stay with his flock. It just would be nice if the debate was about debt and spending cuts, not about bathroom access.

How many times in the past do you think your wife or daughter has been in a restroom when a transvestite looking like those dynoman posted has come and gone?????
I would guess several times...
Those people DO exist and aren’t noticeable right off...
Same with “butches” coming in a guy’s restroom....
This must be why Limbaugh took the day off.
He spent oodles of time mocking Trump on this.
Door meet face.
How many times has this happened????
how many times i n the past has society KNOWINGLY welcomed these people into the same bathrooms as our wives and daughters? and how many times in the past has society banned the moral majority from even having a say about the issue?
Excellent...the transgender Sister Boom Boom.
If there had been no or very few problems, why give them a platform to get their way? Frankly, I had heard of only a few cases and I do not remember what states were involved. The few times I have gone in a public restroom, a parent went in with their kids and in most cases, I was the only one in there. A few places only have one bathroom with a lock on the door. Maybe other places are different than here.
If we do not build a wall, the bathroom issue and all other social issues will be a foregone conclusion.
We lose the debate if it's all about bathrooms, because people will think we can just shift to single occupancy bathrooms, or install doors where they don't already exist on stalls. Urinals in mixed bathrooms are tricker. But from a debating standpoint, where one needs to frame the issue effectively from the start, we should turn the debate to showers, locker rooms, and dressing areas.
Personally, I don't think bathrooms will pose much of a problem in the real world. My guess is that most transsexuals have always used the bathroom appropriate for their sex. Most of them are uncomfortable enough without being stared at and calling attention to their situation. A few have probably slipped into the opposite sex's bathroom and quietly closed the door on the stall. In the real world, I suspect not much will change.
Showering with the opposite sex is a different matter.

How many laws have we had until now allowing them to do so? You think they won’t do this once they get the green light to do so?
If you don’t know, you don’t care. If someone is obviously a man, he doesn’t belong in the women’s bathroom.
A bathroom is the only public place where users can undress in front of others without fear of legal repercussion. Throughout history this condition has demanded the separation of sexes.
We are now being told that anyone, for any reason, may casually enter the bathroom of the opposite sex and act according to their personal whim.
If I, as a man, want to cavort with women in the privacy of their toilet I must be allowed to do so. All I need do to qualify for this debauchery is claim I feel feminine.
This is pure culture chaos.
Absolutely! Forget the border issues! Forget China! Forget Russia! Forget Iran! Forget the economy and our children never making a future for themselves! The number one issue is potties! Dear God!
Another so-called “conservative” author who finds social issues all icky and everything. For decades, these bastards have been saying it’s never the hill to die on, as the country has slipped further and further into a degenerate, vomitous cesspool. So now it’s not even a big deal to have perverted men proclaiming themselves women so as to barge into womens’ restrooms and urinate alongside ten-year-old girls.
I’d like to personally rip the throats out of all these ‘conservative’ pundits who dismiss this issue. They, along with the cowardly GOP have enabled the moral dregs to turn this nation into the sick sewer that it now is. May they all burn in the deepest, darkest corners of hell, alongside the creeps and perverts they obviously identify with.
many people even so called Christians confuse God’s grace with things that come by Govt or govt moneys flowed thru business industries, grants, health “care”, Rx “benefits”, etc, etc, etc. rather than doing things line with word of God like being a good steward and choosing Him over things that seem good but have root out of line with God.
a real confusion/distortion about what God’s grace is vs worldly or self made methods.
1. Wants to change RNC abortion platform.
2. Wants to tax the rich
3. Supports men in female restrooms.
That pretty much makes Trump and TransRepublican.
Knowingly???????
What a stupid question.....
You DO know these people exist, right???
Where do you think they have used the restroom for, say, the last 40 years???
MAN HANDS - PIC Two
this isn’t an issue where we can only do one or the other- many make the argument that ‘We shouldn’t focus on this issue because there are other important things to worry about as well’ but the fact is this is a very important issue as well and there is no reason why we shouldn’t be addressing the issue along with hte other issues at the same time
As far as our daughters go, I'm a thousand percent more concerned with illegal drugs, a real problem which exists with our youth with catastrophic ramifications.
Secure the border and stop illegal drugs from coming into our country. Then we can decide a course of action on far less pressing issues with our youth.
