Not for me. As a conservative, I want someone who is going to fight for the unborn.

Abortion will never be stopped with laws. Apostle Paul said the law doesn’t contain the power to live it and never will.

What a bunch of crap.
He’s big time NYC liberal.
Get a clue!

At this point ideology isn’t as important as getting someone who will buck the current establishment elitists and end their total control of both parties. If that doesn’t happen then nothing will change except the continued disintegration of our republic.

Trump is bernie on fire. Feel the burn.
Hell no.

You have to fight the big battle first
Defeat Hillary and fix the economy then someone else has to fight the lesser battles
The states will change the abortion debate

This article was written before Trump’s remarks about the same sex bathrooms and the North Carolina law. Trump is no culture warrior.
Trump is non-ideological. His positions on culture are driven by what is popular. That is the very reason that the Libertarians have adopted him. trump,is the ultimate, go along to get along kind of guy on social issues. He just doesn’t care.
Trump’s remarks about North Carolina law were that it cost the state money to oppose the same sex bathrooms.

The fate of the unborn is inextricably caught up in the fate of the born. We cannot divorce the issues.
You can pat yourself on the back as having the best of “conservatism” and you will still be wallowing around in the illusorily self-contained “knowledge of good and evil” the Serpent pushed in the Garden. You need something better to prevail. You need God-ism.

There is a huge difference between “stopping abortion” and “fostering a pro-abortion environment”
To quote my father, “Just because you can’t finish the row, doesn’t mean you don’t pick up the hoe and get started.”

And why was the question even put to Donald? He is not in any plausible place to do any good. Last I heard, presidents weren’t expected to champion state laws.

Culture warrior? Why yes, just yesterday he was leading the LGBTQLMNOP into battle against conservatives.

You miss the point. Banning unplowed ground is pointless if all the plows are in disrepair.

For decades, the institutional Right has ceded American culture to the Left... partially a denial of how swiftly the culture has moved Left, leaving the institutional Right under the false impression it is still fighting the culture war of the 90's.... The Right's obsession with... battles over sex, drugs, and rock and roll is... a self-inflicted wound that ignored how the Left used the culture to repeatedly make the case for their vision of an ideal society. We now know the Left won that war... Trump represents the first candidate for whom success could only come after a culture war apocalypse.

Some fool tried to gotcha him into opining in an area that presidents don’t even belong in.
It’s very hard to “win” such a situation.

Conservatism starts with God and applies God’s principles to this un-Godly world. The Bible was written to educate and motivate the Christian to change the world.

The left uses EVERTHING IT CAN IMAGINE to split and cause division within the opposing voters.
That is how they roll.
The right falls for it each time.
It is a predictable as Lucy's football move.
