The link is not up yet, but a few minutes ago Trump was interviewed by Sean Hannity who asked him to clarify his remarks about the NC transgender law. Trump basically said NC is feeling the pinch of a boycott and that's too bad. Hannity asked him how he thought the issue should be settled. Trump said it was a local issue and the Federal courts should never get involved. That's all he said about it. Hannity didn't ask him did he personally think drag queens should be allowed in whatever bathroom they want to use. But I did hear a spokesman for Trump say today in the Matt Lauer interview he was referring to someone who has went to court and had their sex changed on legal documents, as in after they have a sex change. I would suspect Trump will clarify what he meant in the NBC interview in a statement. When the Hannity interview is available I'll post it.

This is a dumb issue. The real issue is STOP LIBS FROM ALLOWING ALL MALES IN WOMEN’S RESTROOMS. Transgender people aren’t going to hurt anyone. They just have to pee.

If criticism of Trump pisses you off so much, then maybe you should find another forum where criticism of Trump is not allowed.
It’s like Target and guns. I wasn’t going there anyway, especially now that they welcome trannies.
But I asked my wife. She doesn’t care to go either but says, “We’ve got stalls anyway.” I’m wheeling her around in a wheelchair, right outside the door, armed, and she’s apparently less afraid than some here.
So it won’t be like a Dick Butkis-sized man wearing a wig, confused about his gender will enter the ladies room and unlimber his johnson in the middle of the room.
If he does, in a normal establishment, he will either be arrested for indecent exposure or asked to leave ... like people with CCPs like myself who wander carrying into a store like Target that isn’t posted.
Libertarians, a large voting bloc often call themselves conservatives, especially on gun issues. For them and others Trump just cut the legs off the ‘rats on this issue with: “It’s their business. It’s their call. Don’t shop there if you don’t like it.” SEE: JC Pennys.
Or he could have pandered, been as thickheaded as a career govt. stooge desperately seeking an issue and started talking mandates/edicts: EOs he would issue.
But it’s Trump. He’s got more pressing things to address than playing nanny to private business and their odd customers.

He never said NC didn't have a right to make the law they did, that would be a contradiction.

I have no illusions about Trump as you want to believe.
But it’s you who bought the pig in the poke, not us. You’re the ones who overlooked the clear signs that he wasn’t anything you thought he was.
And you lie, mischacterize his positions, lie about what he said, and for what? To push a lying fraud on us?

AT this point I am not pushing Cruz. He can’t win. I’m just letting people know that Trump is not going to be the Savior of the Republic.

No responsible parents send their “little girls” into public restrooms alone. Neither my wife or I has ever noticed a “transgender person” in a public restroom. This is a feel good law addressing a non-issue that is nothing more than political grandstanding.
Unlike your hero, I never sent a penny to the campaigns of people like Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chuck Schumer and Hillary Clinton or sent money to defeat Tea Party Candidates who were challenging GOP elites.

I don’t know that he’s the savior of the Republic, but I do know that lying about what he says as you do isn’t helping in the slightest.

Yes, well they need to get in their Bibles. Start in Romans 1 to see that abortion on demand, for instance, is a revelation of the wrath of God against our society. What evoked this wrath? Sexual immorality. Simple, read your Bible. Transgender bathroom brouhahas are just another level of devolution.
Gods “gives over” people who refuse to honor the revelation He has given them “through what has been made”. Creation preaches Jesus Christ (the entire universe was made through Him (see Hebrews). Lots of really nice people who would NEVER think of using the wrong restroom are yet suppressing this Truth.
No politician will EVER be able to alter the revelation of God’s wrath against ANY society. Only the People, a la Nineveh, can.
Did he or did he not say that people should be allowed to choose whatever bathroom they want?

You can spin it all day long, but he buckled to the politically correct side and criticized North Carolina for trying to preserve their moral traditions.
What North Carolina did was absolutely right. The left went apoplectic and Donald LGBTrump joined in the chorus.
