I just spent 45 minutes of my life watching a republican delegate meeting which taught me a valuable thing. You must commit to a FULL TIME JOB in order to be a delegate.

This is insane in a way in that the delegates must be LAWYERS to even comprehend the rules and regs.

Much less object and make proposals.

It should not be so darned complex that a regular intelligent citizen would be overwhelmed as a delegate. Trust me, most of those people were doing their best trying to follow that labyrinth of legal mumbo-jumbo.

The average every day mom and dad types? SHUT OUT.

Very true! Even the cost of going to the convention is prohibitive for the average person!
