No state in the coming weeks of the Republican presidential contest is viewed by the campaigns as more consequential than Indiana and none has been a bigger black hole for polling, where not a single public survey of the states electorate has been released.
But that doesnt mean there havent been polls, especially with a heated Republican Senate primary in Indiana. Their findings just havent been revealed. Until now. ------------------------------
One survey, completed on April 12, had Ted Cruz and Donald Trump in a statistical tie: 32 percent to 32 percent, with John Kasich, governor of neighboring Ohio, a distant third, with 14 percent.
A second survey also had Trump and Cruz tied, but that was a change from three weeks earlier, when Cruz had led outside the margin of error.
A third survey, from last week, had Trump ahead of Cruz, outside the margin of error.

Cruz has lost. Why is Indiana so much more important than, say, California?
Hoosiers conservatives need to turn out in droves. I hope they join me in manning the phones at the Trump for President HQ. The whole nation is watching.
What are the polls saying in Saskatchewan? Cruz doing well there?
B U M P
GROOOOAN
All those hidden private polls.
Indiana has their election on 5/3
California has theirs on 6/7
I wonder if these are Trump internals. Can’t imagine that Manafort will go along with no internal polling.
Why would Hoosier conservatives want to vote for a socially liberal candidate who is open to raising taxes?
I can only speak for my neck of the cornfield which includes a roaming area of 5 counties in the most conservative area of the state.
Not too many signs out, but I’ve yet to see a single one for Cruz. I don’t even know what one looks like having never seen one.
Several for Trump and an occasional “Pence Must Go”.

Canucks voting YUUUGE for Ted!
I also think Manafort is running polls for upcoming states to target areas to shore up. He usually keeps his tactics and methods close to the vest.
He is going to stop Trump from getting the delegates he needs and then win in the second round of the convention!!!!
We won’t! That said, there are many uninformed Hoosiers who will buy into the Trump MAGA spiel...
Why would they vote for someone who can’t win the nomination.
“All those hidden private polls.”
This poll from April 12? A lot has happened since then. This is most likely an internal Cruz poll. Hahahaha
Maybe we Hoosiers know a travelling Tent Revival Preacher that can’t get elected when we see one.
Not many in IN will fall under the scope of tax increases that Trump is hinting.
Politicians don’t chose the nominee, the voters do by majority. It is very clear that the majority is for Trump. Cruz has no path to the nomination. Time to unite the party by getting behind the peoples choice. If he does this — he just may end up as VP.
I think Trumps brave position on allowing grown men to pee next to little girls will really help him in Hoosier country.
