No, everything starts with the blessing of God, or the lack of it. Those who build us a wall build it in vain, if God is not in it. There is no protection from personal moral corruption. God is not mocked. A nation that slaughters its unborn children, then does a calculus of lesser evils to justify continuing the slaughter, “that good may come if it,” is dealing in the perversion of justice, and may rightly expect to feel the hammer of God.

No nation, after the dissolution of Israel in the first century will have God’s blessing. Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit have made peace with God into an individual thing. A wall will stop people from passing through the space that the wall occupies. That is physics and the world is bound by physics.
“The nation” does not slaughter unborn children. That is done by individual humans and each abortion is on their conscience and on their soul.
A leader...even a so-called Godly Leader...will not bring America or any nation back to God. Jesus knows who is his. This is what Matthew 24:40-41 is really talking about. There is no group salvation or sanctification. We are lazy. We want to be saved as a nation, when in reality, we are saved as an individual so that one may be taken while the one next to him is not.
Don’t look to leaders. Be the light that shines for those who are in close proximity to you. Through Christ, all is forgiven!
