There was. I think it was a dog called Under the Cherry Moon or something like that.

I was quite ambivalent about Prince when he first received airplay and didn’t pay any attention to his music for years. I then saw him live. The man was a talent. I did a little research and then was amazed that he played multiple instruments well and engineered most if not all of his music. Anyone that has recorded can attest that this is genius when it comes out the quality that Prince had in his work. Other musicians that were able to work with him on projects could attest to his genius. I am still ambivalent about his music but have great respect for his capabilities as a songwriter and musician and the music world has lost a great one. RIP.

I bet his death gets much more of an investigation than a sitting supreme court justice.

You mean like Trump and his midnight tweets? He's certainly not a conservative so it's confusing to me who doesn't tweet and look at Facebook why people here are so easily fooled.
Just reading today where Trump is changing his views on abortion to make the Republican plank read :"rape incest and the life of the mother." He can also see gay marriage and higher taxes. I just hope before the convention he admits he's a Democrat plant or the same people here that think Prince was so hot and didn't die of AIDS because he was "religious",will still believe Trump is a Republican.
Now ya'll go back to staring at your Iphone while tripping over furniture.

Phenomenally underrated guitarist.Odd...I've watched his performances for years and always thought he was doing "guitaraoke". Some of his hand motions didn't match up with the soundtrack.
I could be wrong...but I do play.

You look at the music he sold and the music he can do are just huge differences
That's NO lie, right there. I remember many years ago, Prince was one of the guest musicians on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve. Was watching various acts that had the show humming along pretty good, then Prince came on and I remember groaning, expecting some tinkly pop music that would shut down the momentum the show had going so far. But there were crashing riffs, intricate guitar solos, he was blowing the roof off the place with fast-paced ROCK. He put the rock into the Rockin' Eve that night. I remember sitting there going "What the....?". I never bought any of his music - all I had ever heard of him was what they played on the radio, which was the tinkly pop music, so yeah that was some surprise when he performed those songs that night.

And people...especially those who claim moral superiority over libtards...don’t have to be jerks. Yet time and time we see many are just as callous as their libtard brothers.

I had a roommate who took me to see “Purple Rain” every Saturday night the semester it came out.
We played so many tapes of that album because our Walkmans kept eating them.
He was her favorite. I was into Asia and The Cars, Floyd, then Prince. I’m looking at my dog earred LP of “Purple Rain” and I want to cry.
RIP Prince. Thank you for some of the music during the best years of my life.

I had heard he had been ill and had gone to ED.
Now he is dead at home of the FLU?
What did he have? Obamacare?
Most people with a bad case of flu would be on a respirator in ICU.

57 is too young to die. My mom died at 56 with cancer. I am 67 with many life threatening issues and now I think that any age is just too young to die.
Every day is a gift. Try to enjoy something of every day. I am listening to Purple Rain.
RIP, Prince.

Prince on guitar. After seeing him in concert in 2004, it was his guitar playing that impressed me most.
