The artist known as Prince has died ... TMZ has learned. He was 57. Prince's body was discovered at his Paisley Park compound in Minnesota early Thursday morning. Multiple sources connected to the singer confirmed he had passed.

He made catchy and fun songs to listen to. All right. His music is all mixed up with that disco mess that was self indulgent over-produces that never spoke to anything I remotely cared about.
I do recall there being quite a bit of interest in his gender bending. I never thought that to be a positive.

He would need to check with Wendy and Lisa to see if the water was warm enough I suppose. ;) Great artist, RIP. He wrote many top songs for other artists, people just don't realize how many top songs were written by Prince for others. Speaking of Wendy and Lisa, I remember back in the day Prince got another music award on an awards show, he walked up to the stage linking arms with Wendy and Lisa to accept the award. Some idiot music critic on the SF Chronicle blasted Prince for bringing adoring bimbos up on the stage - not realizing Wendy and Lisa were talented musician/singers in his band and the movie "Purple Rain". That critic was roundly blasted.
