You are so right. Men dressed as women have been using the same bathroom as women for as long as I can remember. It’s not just in San Francisco or New York - it happens every day in fly-over country too.
The problem with the ordinance that the NC state legislature struck down is that it opened the bathroom and locker room doors to any pervert, teenage guy, or lonely voyeur who could then claim he ‘identified’ as a woman at that moment. So perverts, including registered sex offenders, could lurk in the ladies rooms and dressing rooms.
BTW the people behind the ordinance were a super liberal mayor and her buddy who is a registered sex offender.
