I've watched the video. While his use of the word "discriminatory" doesn't make much sense in context, and therefore the headline is questionable as well, he clearly took the position that the NC law was wrong because it caused "too much strife".

Don't try to equate a questionable headline with the core issue that everyone really cares about, which is men using women's facilities.
