Federal judges do not receive lifetime appointments to the bench, as so many seem to believe. According to the Constitution, they serve only while they are on good behavior.

And so, when these judges render opinions that violate basic morality, or the Constitution, or exceed their constitutional authority, they should not be obeyed, they should be impeached and removed immediately.

The fallacy of judicial supremacy is a coup d’etat against constitutional republican self-government. If our elected representatives do not understand these simple facts, we should be about the business of firing them immediately and replacing them with people who will keep their oath of office.

If we don’t soon adopt this as standard practice, there will no longer be any constitutional republic left to save. And our posterity, those who survive the coming cataclysm, will curse our names for having surrendered their right to govern themselves in liberty.

Again, how do you propose to impeach these judges? Who will bring the proceedings? Where will the votes come from? Who is the champion for this “standard practice”? Your airy suggestions carry about as much weight as a proposed Constitutional convention for a marriage amendment. I’m looking for something real, not platitudes and feel good phrases.

Was it not anti federalist 78 -82 that addressed this?

Still dont agree with judicial review.

Congress could just pass a law that says a majority of the house can impeach a supreme court judege
