“I’m voting only for Trump now in November even if I have to write it in.”

Right there with you. Our (PA) primary is next week. I’ll vote for Trump then, and again in the general. Period.

I’m from PA too - 13th district, and I’m going to TRY to vote for Trump next Tuesday.

The reason I say “TRY”, is that I don’t know what the various delegate candidates on the ballot in my district will actually do at the convention, since they are unbound. I do have a list that provides hints based on any public statements they may have made, but as I said, they are unbound, so I think it’s mostly a crap shoot. Of the 7 delegate candidates in my district, one says “Cruz”, five say District winner”, one says “Statewide winner”, and there are telephone numbers and emails, although I haven’t tried contacting any of them. I suppose if I could speak with each of them I might be able to intelligently vote for the three most likely to support my candidate, but I don’t even know how they got to become candidates in the first place; maybe they have to get a certain number of signatures? I simply have no idea, and neither does anyone I ask, even my lawyer friends.

Hannity said he was planning to post similar information on his website, but I don’t think many PA voters realize they need to do research if they want their vote to have any chance of counting. Wrong though they may be, most voters believe that in order to perform their civic duty, and exercise their right to vote, they are obligated to operate within whatever primary system the parties dish out, and that is unfortunate, because the parties do not exist to serve the voters.

I know these are long standing rules and procedures, and the PA GOP has the right to set the rules for their own private organization. I know if candidates hope to sow and cultivate these unbound delegates, it behooves them to get intimately involved with GOP operatives at the local level, develop a ‘ground game’, etc. Still, I find it hard to justify a system that is purposely confusing and unaccountable to the voters. From what I can see, it only benefits ‘connected’ party hacks who want to trade political support for influence and favors.

In case you don’t already have it, here is a link to the list:
