Wharton under mandatory evacuation? I’ve never heard of that happening. Is it common?

I’ve never heard of Wharton being evacuated before, although that doesn’t mean much. Wharton is about an hour and a half from me...but, this is the first time I ever recall Wharton being evacuated....in all the many years I’ve lived in this area.
