My musing right now has nothing to do with the current topic.

I had lunch today with my part-time boss (a Roman Catholic Priest) and a friend of his, a parishioner. The topic was of course, Trump. I live in NJ, this parish I am speaking of is very close to Atlantic City.

They reiterated how much Trump is hated in Atlantic City because he closed his casinos, and many people lost their jobs. I firmly believe he saw the writing on the wall, with the opening of casinos in Philadelphia, and that it was purely a business decision.

The parishioner told me the polls he has seen indicates that Trump will lose to Hillary in the general election because of this. He also stated that he felt Kasick was the best choice against Hillary.

I said nothing. This mentality makes no sense to me, if Kasick cannot beat Trump in a Primary, how could he ever beat Hillary in the general election. What is this?, common core politics?

I don’t agree with this, I just wanted to share this bizarre conversation...

Flame away, LOL

Pardon me, but I have to vent.

I just suffered through hearing Reince Priebus on Hannity and -— arrrghhhh! This man spins so much it’s IMPOSSIBLE for me to believe he’s not a democrat. Here in Pennsylvania, only the NAMES of the delegates are going to be on our ballots but not the names of the candidates they represent, so no one will know who to vote for unless they do their homework in advance. This nitwit wouldn’t even admit that was STUPID! He deferred constantly to “the rules,” and if you didn’t like the rules you should run for some political committee somewhere and work to change them... otherwise why are you complaining?! Arrrggghh!

I’m now 100% certain that unless Trump comes in over the magic number that this GOP-e clown is going to to find SOME way to take the nomination away from him - maybe with some nice, Canadian lawyer helping him out.

20 some odd years ago, my kid brought home a rap CD- that I took umbrage with... until I listened to it, by DC Talk. One of their CD’s had the following song on it-

“Socially Acceptable”

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ph7ct8-7Og&ebc=ANyPxKqKHhT2lEedOHk8l2eAIaTIKpJFHLYUquarRwGx5OmYQCyHfVKh0vpWrVp-_xjbZmB6mtvdUMkNSCOe-2lPW0oKIhYjJQ

(It’s okay, it’s all right)

It’s okay, it’s alright
Yeah, here we go
dcT is in the house boy
It’s okay, it’s alright

Whatcha thinking, doing the things you do
Whose opinion are ya listening to?
Justifying, you turn it all to gray
Synchronizing to society’s ways

Society has gotten to be all outta whack
And don’t bother with excuses whether white or black
To blame it on a color won’t get a result
Because history reveals to me how ethics were lost
In reality our decency has taken a plunge
“In God We Trust” is an American pun
Funny how it happened so suddenly
Hey yo fellas, kick the melody...

[chorus]
Socially acceptable, it’s okay, it’s all right
Socially acceptable, it’s okay, in whose sight
Socially acceptable

Times are changing, with morals in decay
Human rights have made the wrongs okay
Something’s missing, and if you’re asking me
I think that something is the G-O-D

To label wrong or right by the people’s sight
Is like going to a loser to ask advice
And by basing your plans
On another man’s way of living life
Is creating a brand of ethics
Sure to be missing the punch
No count morals that are out to lunch
They’re sliding away cause everything is okay
It was taboo back then but today ya say, “What the hey”

[repeat chorus]

Yeah, yeah, yeah
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on
Here we go, here we go
A come on, a come on

Everybody’s doin’ it
Who’s doin’ it
Everybody’s doin’ it
Yo, who’s doin’ it
Everybody’s doin’ it
Who’s doin’ it
Everybody’s doin’ it
Yo, yo, yo, who’s doin’ it
Ohhhh, alright
Ohhhh, come on

[bridge]
We gotta back to the principles found in the Word
A little G-O-D could be society’s cure
From the state that we’re in cause again we’re slipping
So pray for America cause time is ticking

[repeat chorus 2x]

socially respectable
socially acceptable
socially respectable

A group of musical youngsters warned us years ago- based on those old stuffy Biblical principles that a few of us know about yet today.

Bitter clingers unite!

Some people are just too stupid to live. The parishioner is exactly the type of person whom the pollsters are calling about the Trump V. Hillary race in the general...STUPID, LIV, UTTER MORONS!

If Hillary is the Dem nominee, the vast majority of the Bernie supporters will NOT vote for her! Many will just NOT vote, but some WILL vote for Trump! None of them will EVER vote for Cruz or KaSicko!

On our side, nobody will vote for Hillary or Bernie, if Trump isn't the nominee! But the new people whom Trump brought in won't vote for the Dem nor Cruz or KaSicko and a VERY large part of the base won't either!

This is the factual info you can and must tell people like that. :-)
