When trying to analyze why Cruz/Kasich would be staying in the race at this point, the starting point needs to be correct.
If one assumes from the start that Cruz is an “outsider”, then of course none of his recent actions make sense. Thus, one must adjust the premise.
When he is correctly identified as a firmly entrenched insider who is adept at lies and deceit, his subsequent actions make perfect sense.
Kasich is just a Soros-backed liberal. I believe he has been told he is one of multiple “backup” plans, and accordingly, takes his orders from the power people behind the scenes.
There is a third possibility for why Cruz would stay in. I will be voting Trump in a week, but I have repeatedly said on FR and in person that I want Cruz to stay in for as long as Kasich does. The best chance for Trump to win, if Kasich won't drop out, is for Cruz to stay too. This is not the thread to go into the details, but I have posted about it several times if you are curious and want to check my history.
I hear callers to Rush, Hannity, and Savage, longing for a Trump/Cruz ticket, which they describe as “two outsiders,” or “the perfect anti-establishment ticket.”
People either listen to Alex Jones, or they live in a dream world.
