Well, Cruz may be right about that. Unfortunately, you could also say that Cruz supporters might as well put a Hillary sticker on their car.

I think it's going to be ugly for us either way in November....

Pun intended.

So now Cruz is showing the infamous personality which has garnered him so many friends and supporters amongst his peers.

He's a pretentious prick.

That doesn’t even make sense.

Ted Cruz hurt himself when he couldn’t even stand up to some lame Hispanic rapper regarding illegal immigration.

Hiding like that was weaselly and showed cowardice.

Hillary does not want to run against Trump because he will make sure all her nasty and dirty laundry is out there for everyone.

I’ll pass on the Hillary! bumper sticker. But Trump has a 70% unfavorable with female voters and God only knows what dirt the Clinton Crime Mafia has on him. He’s been a business/media celebrity for years.

He is done. He knows it and this is the result of knowing that he is done.

When a candidate comes to this point and starts to really infuriate those he would need to support him in a general election, you know that it is comming apart.

He is DONE. HE WILL NOT concede and will destroy everything around him. No different than Gore, or Obama.
Narcisststs do that.

I want to like Cruz but the smugness of statements like this make it difficult.

Didn’t he say a few months ago that he wouldn’t support a contested convention? What a hypocrite.

After Trump’s NY win, Cruz now officially can’t clinch with pledged delegates

Donald Trump just made it impossible for Ted Cruz to clinch the GOP nomination.

Results in New York’s primary mean it is now mathematically impossible for Cruz to clinch nomination based on pledged delegates.

From Washington Post:

In order to maintain the slim, infinitesimal hope that he might be able to clinch the Republican nomination by winning pledged delegates, Ted Cruz needed to win at least a handful of delegates in New York. He didn’t. He now joins John Kasich (and every other Republican who once ran) in the category of “people who can’t clinch the nomination on pledged delegates.” Of the 17 Republicans that started the race, only one candidate isn’t in that box: Donald Trump.

Trump’s challenge hasn’t been Kasich or Cruz for a while; he’s battling against 1,237, the number of pledged delegates he needs to clinch before the convention. And in that race, every delegate counts.

I have been a Cruz supporter from the outset. I have never played fanboy or hurled invectives at those supporting others, but I do not like what I am seeing from Cruz or Kasich.

Above all, I am never Hillary.

Cruz and Kasich have now both crossed the line from competing to purposeful destruction directed at the conservative cause. Having been mathematically eliminated, the adult thing to do would be to bow out, not threaten to destroy any chance of beating Hillary which is exactly what a contested convention will do.

It seems now the only hope we have for a Republican victory in November is for Trump to win the nomination on the first ballot.

During a radio interview for a Philadelphia morning show, Cruz predicted with certainty that the Republican Party is “headed to a contested convention.” He suggests Trump supporters “might as well put a Hillary sticker on your car.”

In all sincerity, "FU Ted Cruz"!!!
