This is the attitude I've been seeing here on FR from some, where FReepers who see themselves as being "active" (as in participating in their local/state party operations) see themselves as the true owners of the party, and the voters ("who sit home and watch TV) being held in contempt.

Much like corporate managers who run the company for their own benefit, rather than seeing themselves as having a duty towards the shareholders, who are the true owners of the company.

In both cases, from the viewpoint of the shareholders/voters, the cure is the same: replacement of the current management with different people with viewpoints that align with the true owners.
