I used to buy my Mom Alfred Dunner, Sag Harbor, Liz Claiborne, and Talbot’s retail. Now, I buy them at Thrift Stores. There are a bunch here, plus quite a few upscale retirement homes.
When someone “passes on”, and their wardrobe ends up donated, I feel like I’ve hit the Mother Lode. Getting a $70 sweater for 2 bucks, it’s Happy Dance Time around here.
I like Johnny Was, and I never see it at Thrift Stores.
The young woman who sang the national anthem was a sweet heart.
Her rendition was slow and tasteful and slowly the audience join with her. Very moving.
We spoke with her and she shared the picture taken by a friend showing her singing and the crowd. Great shot!
Before DT came she shares more. Her mother ( Carla) is blind but raised 8 chikdren. She wrote the lyrics for this Trump song that Lydia sings. I promised her not only that I would share it with you but that I knew you would share it with friends and family too
Visiting with her and the retire female officer who led the pledge (she was not a WWII Vet as announced) Younger than most of us really made waiting a joy.
Her is the Abbots song!

LOL
Happy dance time for “me” when I can get them at that price, too!
