I worked retail for a few years, and eventually got to cashiering full time. I learned at that job, which I hadn’t before, that cameras are everywhere, and I mean everywhere! They’re above each cashier station, and then ALL OVER the store! Between all the different dishonest types out there, it’s an absolute necessity to ward off fraud and theft.
I never noticed these cameras in stores.
