You are correct abouts WF. Their CEO is libertarian and wrote a book in defense of the free market and capitalism shortly after he came out against Obamacare. Here in Pittsburgh a couple of stupid hippies tried to picket our local WF store. I do shop there because they carry a lot of local produce, pastured eggs, and grass fed non homogenized milk that I can’t find elsewhere, but I’m hardly a liberal.

I shop at the WF downtown Austin because I can pay for a wine or beer and carry it around with me while I shop. Plus, I always learn something about some obscure veggie/herb/poultice/weathervane by reading the silly descriptions of the products. Also, they have a seafood grill where you can buy the item from the fish market, take it over to the cooks and tell them how to cook it, or you can order from their menu. There’s a huge salad bar, and lots of other grills, coffee shop and a bakery.
Don’t even get me started on the people watching! We are still called people right?
All in all a very entertaining experience!
