I was thinking of this earlier. Cruzers love to belittle Trump by saying that he does well in “liberal” states. Did they ever stop to think, that a NY Yankee comes down to Texas, holds their sitting senator under 50%, while taking 30% of the vote himself? On Trump’s home turf he takes 60% and holds the Princeton and Harvard educated Texan Cruz to 14%.
Will grass roots, died-in-the-wool republicans rally behind Mr. Trump? Not the GOPe trash, but ordinary republicans.
