So... let’s get this straight.
The guy quits. Says nothing but nice things about Trump and Lewandowski, but suddenly it’s described as a “shake up” and the reasons behind his quitting are “seen as” a reaction to Lewandowski’s role being reduced in the campaign (if that’s even true - seems to me that Trump has been 100% loyal to the man throughout). So... New York Slimes, what, EXACTLY, does “seen as” mean? Seen by WHO? YOU?! This seems to be nothing more than media-speak for “we made something up, and we have no real news, but the thing we made up is now the basis for this story.”
So we have a story based on propaganda made up out of thin air, the Cruzers eat it up, and... well, here is it on Free Republic, hoping it’ll somehow sow discord or distress in Camp Trump.
And this is only one instance out of thousands. They never stop. They never quit. They’re NEVER honest.
Corey L did get his nose bent when Manafort came on board. Seems Corey wanted to “manage” Manafort, and Manafort saw things differently.
Corey has apparently been blocking other campaign aides from approaching Trump with concerns or suggestions, which likely has something to do with the delegate gettin’ process going the way it has. Just my opinion.
So Manafort was like; I answer to Trump, and no one else. Corey has been pushing back, but I think he is on thin ice with Trump right now. Just my opinion.
I believe Trump is looking hard at his team right now, because he knows that some on his team are just too new to national politics to be effective. Corey has felt “demoted” since Manafort came on. I expect him to be feeling even more demoted as soon as it won’t be bad optics.
For what it’s worth, I don’t believe Trump allows discord.
