Rush is nearing the Levin-rant-levels especially with callers who take him to task. It does seem more of those callers are getting through. Is Snerdley’s job in jeopardy for not screening them out?
Talking points:
1. Compliment Rush/Levin (Hannity doesn’t need to be sold, so they save time by limiting compliments to Sean. )
2. Neg Cruz
3. Talk excitedly about Trump.
4. Say you like Cruz, but... ( this time it was electoral count. Others talk about Iowa, or immigration, or how no one likes him, etc.)
5. Stay positive about Trump.
6. To keep Rush from getting bored, say something positive, but unimportant about Cruz.(Levin has gotten wise to this so he doesn’t tolerate it long.)
7. Repeat 5&6 until end of call.
For 8 years, i have studied the same format, teaching guys to get women, and women to get guys.
The EIB collapse is going to be huge.
Rush attracted a huge audience and became rich and famous by deconstructing liberals and liberalism. He did it so well that “liberal” became a dirty word and liberals dodged the term and wanted to be known as something else, progressives, or whatever.
But beyond that, he’s always been a dependable GOPe spokesman and supporter. And he supported NAFTA and never opposed any aspect of globalism that I’m aware of, including the decades old refusal of presidents of both parties to enforce our immigration laws.
Now he’s confronted with the populist uprising led by Trump which challenges and criticizes the globalist trade and immigration policies Rush has supported or ignored for almost thirty years. He’s really ignoring the big issues of this campaign and just commenting in technical details such as delegate selection and the campaigns of Trump and Cruz.
But he is ignoring the most powerful issues in the Republican primaries, and he becomes more and more unlistenable as he pretends to neutral, but is actually doing all he can to make Cruz look as if he’s still a viable candidate. Most Republicans aren’t interested in which is the purest conservative, but whether Trump or Cruz is most likely to make changes in the negative impacts of trade, immigration and foreign policy on both our economy and our nation in general.
I think Trump would begin to turn things around, and that Cruz is just a me too candidate who would return to his GOPe loyalties if he managed to be elected.
Back several months ago when Trump first came on the scene it was actually Rush who turned me on to Trump telling us he is the guy that could bring over the dems, taking on the media and backed him for saying conservative stuff like build the wall, etc. I’m not sure why he changed but I think it’s because Trump talks about deals and Rush has said that he thinks the dems should be defeated soundly and not to negotiate with. Can Cruz defeat the dems soundly? Is that what Rush is thinking?
You forgot “lie about Cruz not having an office in Indiana”.

I listened to Rush today, and he spent his last hour defending the indefensible, defending the "process" which Cruz followed to win Colorado, Wyoming... He did everything but came out and USED the right word, BRIBE. But he DEFENDED this. I had already lost all faith in Rush. But today...wow.
"Out muscling them" "mastering the delegate system"---Hannity just said describing Cruz's tactics. Folks---who lives in a dream world? Cruz's CHARM won these people over? Shitte. FEW are that naive, and Levin, Beck et al are insulting our intelligence to praise Cruz for his "great ground game" etc. Like, no one WONDERS what that is, and no one REALIZES in one second----OOOOHHHHHHH. Oh, I SEE. Like we were born yesterday? Does this work on millenials or 20 year olds? Because it doesn't work on seniors. Crooked and Politician---there's a REASON those words go together.
Trump explained it twice yesterday. It's BRIBES and he wanted no part of it. He's spending HIS money and he is going to spend it going straight to the PEOPLE and not bribing fat cat Boss Hogg politicians. AND, he said, it's not right, and he is not going to do it for that reason.
She was terrific. Made Rush seem rude and petty. I asked my wife when I got home if she heard the call and she said the same thing. Rush was childish.
Trump wants nothing to do with “bribes”? The man who has bragged about buying politicians suddenly is opposed to wining and dining a few delegates? Give me a break... If you believe that, you truly will believe anything Trump tells you.
