I worked in the medical community for 40+ years. I was working at a very prestigious hospital in the 80’s when a doctor doing cancer research there was found to have faked all his data. He left the prestigious hospital for lesser institution and was banned from doing research ever again. That’s it. I presume he was able to continue with a decent career. So, truth in research has been compromised for decades. Whoever funds the project WILL get the result they desire. Is there ANYTHING left the Left hasn’t politicized??
I would love to know the doctor and the hospital. I bet I can guess the hospital. I worked at a prestigious cancer hospital in the 80s, and the guy I worked for faked his work, or at least plagiarized it. I left that job quickly and found other research work nearby. Feel free to pm me if that’s ok.
