The Dems have proven themselves to be an evil party with evil people, and it hasn’t destroyed them. No Republican was going to seriously pursue impeachment for Roberts with Zero salivating to put one of his in as Chief Justice. And politics do trump “Constitutional Duties” and have for a long time. Doesn’t make it right, it just is what it is. By that reckoning, the GOP should be falling over backwards to seat Zero’s anti-2A/pro-gubmint moonbat for Scalia’s seat ASAP. Thank heavens they’re not.

The senate is allow to vote down unacceptable SC noms. That’s a bad example.
