I'll tell you one "standard" that I am absolutely against and that's for Freshman Senators abrogating their elected responsibilities and trying to run for president in the middle of their term!
My second STANDARD follows the Constitution of the USA; to whit : that a presidential candidate MUST be a NBC, as must the VEEP!
Politics is indeed a BLOOD SPORT, down in the gutter DIRTY and ALWAYS has been, since the beginning of this nation!
